Single Engine Records is an independent record label (hybrid netlabel) that was formed in 2013 by musician Tim Kaye with the intention of serving as an outlet for original musical endeavors by some of the most creative and unique musicians on planet Earth.

 

We're still in our infancy, but we hope to bring to life some of the most intriguing music without the boundaries of stylistic labels, all the while forming a healthy community of musicians and artists who don't necessarily fit the status quo.

 

Some might call us "indie". Some might call us "experimental".

 

We fancy the term "outsider music".
